Most of the students from JNV know how to prepare for JDST ( Joint Dakshana Selection Test ) either from their seniors or from jnv Teachers. How to do preparation for JDST Dakshana Scholarship exam for government or government-aided non-JNV students

Below are the important points to follow during the preparation for JDST Dakshana Scholarship exam. so, go through all points to avoid any mistakes.

  1. If you are a student belonging to a government or government-aided non-JNV school then keep your study well to pass the Eligibility Test for JDST Dakshana.
  2. Eligibility Test 2022 for JDST Dakshana 2023 will be conducted from September 2022 to December 2022.
  3. The eligibility Test for JDST 2023 Dakshana exam will be a 30-minute Aptitude Test.
  4. You can give this Eligibility Test from your home.
  5. To appear for JDST 2023 you must pass this Eligibility Test, so your name will come in shortlisted students for JDST 2023.
  6. Dakshana JDST Paper is divided into 4 sections Math/Bio, Chemistry, Physics, and Logical reasoning each of 25 MCQ questions.
  7. Since the Dakshana JDST Paper is based on NCERT but at an advanced level, complete your NCERT and follow reference books in your left time.
  8. In the reference books, you can follow H.C. Verma, Pradeep, Dinesh, R.D. Sharma, etc. This is the book that makes you conceptually strong. The most important thing to keep in mind that do not to miss any examples and exercises, especially higher-order thinking-based questions which will help you in the exam.
  9. Since the Dakshana Asks questions in MCQs format hence you have to train your mind to solve questions in that manner, hence you can follow “NCERT at your fingertips” books. In this book, you will get a summary of topics and MCQs asked in JEE-Main and equivalent examinations. This book will be very helpful for board exams as well as the JDST exam for Dakshana.
  10. Since NCERT is the base for the JDST Dakshana exam, hence go through all examples and exercises, and paragraphs deeply.
  11. If you do have not enough time to give for the JDST Dakshana exam then I recommend you to follow your NCERT books only for Chemistry. Mostly all competitive exam like Dakshana, JEE, NEET, etc asks 80-90% of questions from NCERT directly. This will help you to save more time for challenging subjects like Math, Physics, etc.

Below are the important points to follow during the preparation for JDST Dakshana Scholarship exam preparation for JNV students. So, go through all points to avoid any mistakes.

  1. First of all, to appear for the JDST Dakshana exam, you have to come to the shortlisted students’ name list from Dakshina Foundation.
  2. Dakshana shortlists the student’s name list mostly based on academic performance of the class 10th Board exam as well as the Class 12th latest exams.
  3. So to come on the shortlisted student list for the JDST exam, keep your School exam performance high.
  4. And do not wait for the shortlisted name list, start your preparation form today because your main goal is to crack JEE/NEET or equivalent exam either from Dakshana or from anywhere.
  5. Take the idea of the JDST Dakshana exam paper either from your seniors, who have already given this exam, or Teachers. Because Dakshana never publishes its exam paper or model paper. Moreover, Dakshana does not allow students to take their papers after the exam is finished.

How to give JDST Dakshana exam to pass for Dakshana Scholarship

Below are the important points to keep in your mind during the JDST Dakshana examination. So go through all points to avoid any mistakes.

  1. Do not suggest your mind to attempt all Questions. It can disappoint you if you are not able to answer any difficult questions.
  2. There is a total of 100 Questions Categorised into 4 Sections each of 25 Questions.
  3. Make sure not to attempt the sections which do not belong to you. Like, if students are NEET Aspirants then he/she has to only attend Biology instead of Math and for Engineering Aspirants it is vice versa. If the students are doing mistakes in this case then he/she is wasting his/her time.
  4. One more thing you should remember that Solve your questions round-wise. It will help you keep motivated and relax in the JDST exam.
  5. First of all, solve the easiest questions that you can answer with full of confidence from all sections. Then follow the round method to solve easy to hard questions.
  6. Since in the JDST exam paper, there is a negative marking of -1 on each question hence avoid attempting that questions that you do not know or that are doubtful.
