Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship program is open for young sportspersons. This scholarship is designed to support sports talent to avail of financial assistance for training, medical and other expenses. Keep India Scholarship program aims to encourage promising sports talent to continue their sports training and lead towards a better professional sports career.
Eligibility Criteria for Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship Programme
- Sportsperson or applicant must have played State level/National level or International level games on behalf of their state or country in the last 2 or 3 years.
- Applicants must have ranked under 500 at National level games in their participation or ranked under 100 at State level games in their participation.
- Applicant should have age between 9-16 years as on 30 June 2021
- Application for this scholarship is open to all sportspeople who have an annual family income of less than INR 5 Lakhs.
- Applicant must have affiliated with a recognized sports body, sports coach or sports academy, or sports federation.
Benefits Of Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship Programme
Successfully accepted sportspersons or applicants will be given a Scholarship amount of INR 75,000 per year for 3 years, to continue their training and lead towards a better professional sports career.
