Eligibility Criteria for IET India Scholarship Award 2023
you have to meet the following eligibility criteria to apply for IET India Scholarship-
- All 1st year, 2nd year, 3rd year, and 4th year full-time regular UG engineering students in India.
- The institution of students should be approved by AICTE/UGC. or Institutions should be National institutions to be eligible.
- AICTE/UGC All branches of engineering are eligible.
- Branches should belong to B.tech Programmes.
- Any age group of students is eligible.
- According to norms, all courses allocated to students that have regular credits must be cleared on 1st attempt.
- All the semesters that have cleared so far should have at least 60% marks or at least a 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale.
- All students can apply whether a student belongs to IET Members or not an IET member.

There will be conduction of 5 regional presentations at 5 different places in India by IET India Scholarship Committee. locations are as follows-

1. Benefits of the IET India Scholarship Award 2023 at the Regional Level
All applied students will compete with each other at the regional level for the 1,00,000 Scholarship Prize as follows-
- INR 60,000, IET Membership, and a Certificate will be given to the Regional round winner
- INR 40,000, IET Membership, and a certificate will be given to the Runner Up.
2. Benefits of the IET India Scholarship Award 2023 at the National level
All students who are winners at the regional level will compete with each other for a scholarship prize worth INR 6,50,000 as follows
- INR 3,00,000, IET Membership, and a Certificate will be given to the National round winner
- INR 1,70,000, IET Membership, and a Certificate will be given to the First Runner Up.
- INR 1,50,000, IET Membership, and a Certificate will be given to the second runner Up.
Note: If Regional-level winner students also win at the national level then that type of student will get a Certificate of both levels but the IET Scholarship Prize will be given on the basis of National level only.

Award Process For IET
India Scholarship Award 2023
The award process for IET India Scholarship Award 2023 includes the following 4 levels-
Level 1- Online Application followed by Evaluation of IET India Scholarship Award 2023
Students can only apply for the IET India Scholarship Award 2023 through the official website given in the Apply Link above.
- To be considered in the online application round, you have to meet all eligibility criteria as mentioned in the eligibility section.
- Only shortlisted applicants will be allowed to give the test which will be based on STEM (Science, Technology, and Engineering).
- Only shortlisted applicants from level 1, will go to level 2 and they will be included in the top 10 percentile from every region. Regions are East, north, northeast, west, south 1, and 2.
- South 1 region includes Telangana, Kerla, and Karnataka.
- South 2 region includes Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu, and Pondicherry.
- Score calculation will be based on the total application received, and the weightage given for each in the online application as given below-
The weightage assigned for Online Application of IET India Scholarship Award 2023.
- 60% for Academics
- 20% for Extra and Co-curricular Activity
- 10% for Outreach Activity that includes coordinating or organizing seminars or lectures, industrial visits, etc.
- 10% for Professional Activity that includes membership in professional bodies.
Level 2-Conduction of Online Test
- Level-1 shortlisted candidates will have to give the test that will be conducted at all India Levels.
- The online test will be conducted to test the knowledge of Engineering Subjects.
- Engineering Subject includes Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics, Math, and Physics.
- 50 Questions will be given in the test will be multiple choice Questions.
- In Each region, the Top 30 Candidates will be selected on the basis of their test performance for the 3rd level.
Level 3- Conduction of Regional Rounds
- In regional rounds, shortlisted candidates will give their presentations on the topic from each region.
- The topic will be given to candidates by the Jury Members at least 10 days before the presentation date scheduled.
- conduction of regional assessment will happen in 5 regions as follows.
- North Region-Delhi
- East & North East Region-Chennai
- South1-Bangalore
- South2-Chennai
- West Region-Mumbai
- The winner of the Regional round of each round will go to the National round which is level-4.
Level 4- Conduction of the National Final
- 5 winners of regional rounds will be selected to present their presentations.
- The presentation topic will be “Technology Solutions and Their Vision on it for the Problems in Engineering” chosen in Regional rounds.
- National Jury will judge Candidates on the basis of performance in presentation, and improvement in each round.
- Group Discussion may also be conducted.
- topic for Group will be given on the Final Day of the National round.
- The national final will be conducted in Bangalore. All details like timing etc will be sent in advance to candidates.
