Eligibility criteria for INAE Young Engineer Award 2022
(1) Applicant must be an Indian citizen.
(2) Applicant should not be more than 35 years old if the applicant is male.
(3) Applicants should be given five-year relaxation in the case of female nominees or applicants. it means they can apply if they are 40 years old.
(4) Applicants should be holding the first tertiary degree in engineering or technology as on 1st January 2022.
Validity of INAE Young Engineer Award 2022
This nomination will be valid for only one year. A candidate can be nominated three times in total subject if he or she has done well in all subjects with age not more than 35 years in case of male and 40 years in case of female.
Selection Criteria of INAE Young Engineer Award 2022

This evidence of excellence will be taken into consideration for the award. Evidence of excellence can be engineering research, product, process, technology development, design, and transfer-specific contributions carried out in India.
Selection Procedure for INAE Young Engineer Award 2022
The selection committee first will see the excellence of evidence and then they will shortlist nominees. Short-listed nominees will be invited to give a presentation of their research or work followed by interaction with the selection committee.
Prize Amount of INAE Young Engineer Award 2022
Shortlisted nominees will be awarded a cash price of INR 100000 and a citation.
In addition to that award, all INAE Young Engineer Awardees will become ' INAE Young Associates' and shall continue as INAE Young Associates till 45 years old.
